Generally speaking, for English learning, I mix listening exercises with written exercises to develop vocabulary, grammar, and proper usage. I usually offer some homework in between lessons that should not take more than about 15 minutes to help reinforce learning. I try to encourage speaking as much as possible because it is the only way to truly improve. Read less
