I reside in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. A friendly but very windy city!
With just over 20 years of demonstrated work experience in various fields - retail, technical, tourism, administrative, automotive, education, sales, communication, marketing and outsourcing, I have gained valuable knowledge, insight and experience from every work opportunity.
I have developed a superior skill set which has enabled me to interact well with colleagues and clients alike. I aim toward completing projects accurately and effectively.
I venture to become adept in every opportune field and by doing so, have proven marketable skill sets.
As a member of the Rotary Club of Port Elizabeth, whose core focus is giving back to the community with very structured, action-driven focused projects.
I further develop my product and sales knowledge as an active Sh'zen consultant.
In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, fine-tuning my third language, teaching English as a Foreign Language and hiking.
Having studied English Literature and teaching courses at university and obtained my higher certificate in Early Childhood Development, I have found my niche in tutoring.
I have taught at four different schools from Grade R (preschool) to Grade Three.
I have 18 months of online teaching experience through MPC Connect, whose client is the iTutor Group.
I enjoy teaching very young children, teenagers and adults alike.
I am passionate and excited about teaching and find it most rewarding.

I can propose that direct instruction is best used when working with students below grade level. Read less
