Q: What teaching methods do you use to help students learn Math concepts and solve problems?

Real world applications - Math lesson needs to connect to the real world where students see the purpose of learning math such as calculating how much paint you need to paint a room. We always connect ideas to student interests and to their lives beyond the classroom. Inquiry based Learning - Student inquiry is an important part of learning. It boosts confidence in students as their can be many ways to solve a problem. Many solutions derived by students always leads to a wonderful mathematics class. We use variety of mathematical tools that helps about a concept before you teach it so that you know what to emphasize and which students might need support. Engaging Math - We believe adding visuals representation to lesson is always helpful and easy to understand difficult concept. Delivering a structured lesson in an unstructured way is sometimes beneficial for delivering a successful lesson.

Yes, I provide structured supplementary materials to reinforce learning: 1. Weekly Homework: Carefully designed practice exercises based on the topics covered, helping students build confidence and consistency. 2. Online Quizzes (After Every Class is mandatory): Short assessments are assigned after each session to: Reinforce key concepts Track understanding in real time Identify gaps early 3. Extra Practice & Review as homework: Additional worksheets or targeted questions are provided for students who need more support in specific areas.

Q: What is your approach to homework assignments, and how do you ensure students understand the concepts covered in class?

I assign structured weekly homework based on the concepts covered in class to reinforce learning and build confidence. Each assignment progresses from basic to more challenging problems, ensuring students develop a solid understanding. I also conduct mandatory quizzes after every class to assess immediate comprehension and identify any gaps early. In the following session, I review homework and quiz results, address mistakes, and provide targeted support or additional practice as needed to ensure students fully understand the material.
