I use a method called teach - back very often whereby I explain a topic and get a student to work through a problem on the topic to see if they understand and if not we try creative alternatives until we find the best method
Yes I do . My preference in terms of communication is via zoom , Google meet , WhatsApp or email
I love algebra and geometry, and often do curriculum refresher courses online to make sure I keep up to date
I do weekly check in forms and feedback reports
I do offer my own personal presentations, worksheets and online resources for students
I go through the questions with them explain the questions and do practice questions that will enable them to be prepared to answer the homework themselves and then I ask them to send to me when done so that I can check their answers
I do an initial meeting to ask them what methods they have used , what works best for them and how they like to study and incorporate that into my lessons
I have and I do trial lessons with them to see what specific teaching style will work best for them
