I always make sure that my student is comfortable and confident.
I don't immediately head to the books, I always start with an icebreaker which leads to doing freedom in the room and I make sure the icebreaker links with the lesson.
Depend on the students level I usually move from concrete lessons to abstract lessons. This helps me understand the students level and gives me an idea of the strategies and methods I need to use to assist the student. Read less
