Hello, my name is Olivia and I am a passionate English teacher from the UK, currently living in Bangkok.

I hold a Master’s degree in Child Psychology, which gives me deep understanding of how children learn, develop confidence and build strong communication skills.

I have experience as an EAL (English as an additional language) teacher and I am currently working with students from Year 1 to Year 3 at a Bangkok international school.

My teaching focuses on phonics, early reading, vocabulary development and building confidence in communication. I enjoy creating fun, engaging lessons that help students feel relaxed and motivated while learning. I often use games, stories, conversation activities and practical exercises so that students learn naturally and enjoy the process.

I have experience supporting students with phonics programs, literacy development, and general English skills, and I am confident in helping learners who have very limited English as well as those who want to improve their fluency and writing. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s level, goals, and interests.

English can feel challenging at the beginning, but with the right support and regular practice, it becomes much easier. The most effective way to learn English is through consistent speaking, reading, and listening practice in a supportive environment. My goal is to make lessons enjoyable and practical so students gain confidence quickly.

How long it takes to learn English depends on the student’s starting level and how often they practice. With regular lessons and practice each week, most learners begin to see improvement in confidence and communication within a few months.

I am happy to support students with phonics, homework, exam preparation, reading development, and confidence in spoken English.
