I am an experienced and dedicated Humanities educator, specialising in Geography and History within the British curriculum. Currently based in Kuwait, I bring a wealth of international teaching experience, having spent several years teaching in the United Kingdom before continuing my career in the Middle East.

My teaching is grounded in academic rigour, clarity, and structure, with a strong emphasis on helping students not only understand content but also master the skills required to excel in assessments. I specialise in preparing students for KS3, GCSE/IGCSE, and A-Level examinations, with particular strengths in developing exam technique, analytical writing, and geographical and historical enquiry skills.

What distinguishes my approach is my commitment to high-impact, efficient learning. I draw on proven strategies such as retrieval practice, modelling, and metacognitive techniques to ensure students make rapid and sustained progress. My lessons are carefully sequenced, engaging, and tailored to individual needs—whether a student requires support to build confidence or challenge to reach the highest grades.

In addition to my teaching experience, I hold leadership responsibilities, including serving as Head of Department, where I have designed cohesive curricula and implemented strategies to raise standards across entire year groups.
