I am an Honours Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), with a strong academic background in both Mathematics. In matric, I achieved distinctions in both subjects, which sparked my passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking.

I am passionate about teaching because I understand how challenging these subjects can be, and I enjoy helping students overcome those difficulties. I aim to make learning clear, engaging, and less intimidating by breaking down complex concepts into simple steps. My teaching methodology is student-centered and focused on building a deep understanding of concepts. I start by identifying each student’s strengths and areas where they struggle, then tailor my lessons to suit their individual learning style and pace.

I break down complex Mathematics and Physics concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations, ensuring that students understand the “why” behind each solution, not just the method. I use plenty of practice problems, past exam questions. Read less
