My name is Ema, I am a Psychology graduate and a Primary Learning Support Specialist, passionate about young people's holistic development in education. I am skilled in both creating a safe learning environment and creating accessible and varied resources in order to empower a range of students. I've been working in child development and education for eight years, the past two years as a Learning Support Specialist at an international school. This experiance has allowed me to work with children from the ages of 4 to 12, with varying levels of ability and challenge. Through this I was able to develop a greater understanding of how different people learn and the resources that can help them in accessing academic materials and promoting academic acceleration. My international upbringing as well as years of both attending and working in international contexs contributes to my ability to connect with people of different cultural and social backgrounds.
I have experience in teaching the Primary and Early Years IB curriculum, and am able to use this and my own academic experience to approach novel academic materials and make them accessible to students. Read less

My teaching method consists of oservation, evaluation, implementation, reflection and adjustment if necessary. I rely on my understanding of psychology and experience of working in schools with both neurotypical and neurodiverse students to inform individualised resources and support.
