I use the first lesson to identify where the student needs most attention and then work through the basics. I believe the best way to learn Math is with practise so after the basics are mastered I apply them to exam questions and other assessments so the student can see what they have learned in action immediately. This method is effective as it prepares students for assessments and also helps with avoiding nerves before exams. Read less
