Having graduated in Psychology from University College London and studied at Diocesan Boys' School (DBS), I have been immersed in native English-speaking environments since birth.

My English language capabilities are best illustrated by my IELTS examination results, where I achieved a score of 8/9, with full marks in both reading comprehension and listening.

I and my team of tutors have been tutoring English for over 5 years, developing and delivering classes on reading comprehension, vocabulary, oral/presentation skills, grammar, and essay writing. I am also experienced in teaching IELTS.

My strongest asset as a tutor is my experience working with diverse students. Throughout my career, I and my team have taught over 100 individual students, allowing me to understand how to connect with them and, more importantly, how they absorb information and learn. Throughout my years of teaching, I have found that students learn best when given a combination of theory and practice questions to learn from.

In an hour of English class, students usually spend the first 15-20 minutes learning about theory, such as grammatical knowledge, reading comprehension techniques, and so on. I then administer practice questions during the remaining 40-45 minutes, carefully guiding students through each question. Read less
