I am Zulaiha. I am currently in my second year of studying Biology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I graduated from Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling College in 2018, where I attained the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Through the IB Diploma Programme, I have had the opportunity to experience an international curriculum, which has inspired me to pursue a career in the same field. Throughout my secondary school years, I actively participated in extracurricular activities while maintaining a balance with my studies. I have traveled overseas for school trips, whether it be for competitions or to teach English as part of our school's requirements.

During university, I have been involved in various community service programs and have served as a writer and co-chief operating officer for CUHK's student-produced English magazine, CUriosity. Through these experiences, I have engaged with individuals from diverse backgrounds, which has boosted my confidence and improved my interpersonal skills.

As the Project Leader and Presenter of our radio show, CIBS United Vision of Youth, I have become a more outgoing and disciplined person. Timely submission of episodes and regular progress updates taught me the importance of time management and punctuality. I have also realized the significance of effective communication in conveying our message, particularly in the education field. Being a presenter has further developed these skills within me.

Regarding my experience in the education field, I have worked with various companies as a part-time tutor. I have taught English Drama to young children aged 3-5 and have served as a debate coach for senior secondary students. Additionally, I provide home tutoring and education consulting services to individuals in my community who require assistance. I have conducted small group homework sessions and developed learning materials for these sessions. Read less
