First, assess the level of language the student has. Give the student a space to clearly state what he or she is looking forward to in our session. Clarify the context of the topic, explain a few new words, allow the student to ask questions, and state their views on the topic we are dealing with. Also, I will ask questions to check whether the student understands or not. In the next session, we will do a tiny revision of what we did last before commencing with our session. Read less
