My name is Jessica and I have 5 years tutoring experience helping my students to excel at their exams and improve their quality of written and spoken English. My experience includes primary, KS-3, 11+, GCSE and A level. I also teach creative writing, and I am also available to help university students, including proof reading and editing dissertations.

I graduated from the University of Exeter with a 2.1 BA English degree, where I have extensive experience in researching and essay editing and writing. Since I graduated, I have over five year's tutoring experience, teaching both face-to-face and online, working with students privately and in small groups.

My tuition style is patient, friendly and structured, and includes setting clear goals and objectives in order to achieve the grades or output you desire. Each lesson plan is tailored to suit your needs.

I will assist you to feel confident in your subject and in yourself so you can achieve your full potential. If you are seeking support in your exams, I will ensure you understand the curriculum and what is being asked of you. I am timely and efficient and will guide you to the results you need. My intention is to also keep it interesting and fun for you, so learning becomes enjoyable and not a chore!

I am located in London, but I offer online tutoring from the comfort of your home. I am friendly, supportive, intuitive and understanding.

I am also a yoga teacher, so have additional experience teaching groups and individuals - both in person and online. We start with goal setting. I will ask you would like to achieve and improve, and we will discuss what we need to achieve this. If it is to improve essay writing, for example, we will look at a past essay to get a picture of what we need.

I will ask you to describe your strengths and weaknesses to understand you and how you work.

We discuss how you learn best - by writing, reading, or doing, etc.
We will then set a 5 week, 10 week or 3 month plan with an overall VISION.
