I'm passionate about teaching and am a TEFL-certified tutor from the University of Toronto. I'm willing to help academic students and young learners with writing, speaking, listening, and grammar.

I use exam papers and syllabus to gauge students' current aptitude and practice on weak spots through exercise questions and answering techniques. For English, I teach in a fun and interesting manner to entice students to learn more, making lessons effective. For math, I teach students how to solve problems by analyzing question statements to develop their question analysis skills. I am passionate about teaching and patient in my approach with children. I am enthusiastic about the English language and use my strength in English to help students understand math problems using simple solutions. A P3 student in 2023 improved from a grade in the 70s to 98 marks in English. Another student's math grades maintained a high A throughout her P3 and P4 years while I taught her.

I graduated with a BA in History of Art degree and decided that I enjoyed teaching. I then completed a CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Primary and Early Years. I am an Australian English teacher and I have recently moved to Kuwait to teach English. I have worked in the Education sector for over 15 years, ultimately gaining experience in Teaching English language literature, ESL and Inclusive Education. Over the years, I have also had so many roles such as Transition coordinator, International Students Coordinator, Australian National Testing NAPLAN Coordinator and Learning and Support Teaching Specialist. Currently, I’m teaching senior high school students (Grade 11 and 12) here in Kuwait. I also tutor students in Australia online (Grade 7-12) as well as Australian university students (in LANTITE testing which is a Literacy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students designed to ensure teachers are well equipped to meet the demands of teaching). I have taught a variety of students from different backgrounds with varying intelligence and capabilities.

I am a second-year undergraduate studying at the University of Leicester, in the UK. I am in Singapore at the moment for Summer break I am currently on track to achieve first class honours in Contemporary History. I am passionate about History and the English Language.
