I am a graduate in Computer Engineering. I also hold CISCO certifications in computer networking. I believe in knowledge transfer. This means that all the students that I will be tutoring I endeavour to give them 100% of what I know and that will help them to achieve their goals in life.

Throughout my Educational Career, I have been teaching my fellow colleagues and juniors. I am a physicist with more than a decade of Experience. I have always remained a top-notch student throughout my academics earning recognition at highest levels. Main subjects are mathematics, physics, computer and English. I build a plan with my students and we work together to ensure progress through it. Regular reflection is also an important aspect of my teaching approach which helps the student realise where they need to focus.

First lesson is FREE. Having worked in software engineering for 20 years, I am now a tutor in computer science, coding, and IoT. I returned from Ireland (1 year) to Hong Kong in 2019. After graduating from a Bachelor of Computer Science and a Master of Computer Science from the University of Melbourne and Victoria University of Tech, respectively, I worked in various tech giants such as Compaq, HP, and Accenture. I started as a programmer and eventually became a project director in Hong Kong, Australia, and some EU nations like Ireland, the UK, and Poland. My strengths in programming are C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Python (machine learning). After returning to Hong Kong, I started tutoring IGCSE Computer Science, IB Diploma, and DSE, which were not familiar to me. This is a new beginning for me, even though I scored A and B grades in HKCEE Computer Studies and HKAL Computer Studies. Upon reviewing their syllabus, I found that they are similar to Advanced Level Computer Studies that I had studied before. Currently, I mainly teach CIT of DSE, Year 7 to Year 12 in Computer Science of GCSE and IB Diploma. During that time, I teach programming courses, such as JavaScript and Python, in international schools. I am also building a quadruped robot under the cooperation and sponsorship of a startup company. The current students come from both local and international schools, such as Pu Chiu Secondary School, Choi Ji Chung College, Diocesan College, Yew Chung College, Malvern Secondary School, Chung Tsin Primary School, and St. Francis Xavier's English Primary School, etc.

I'm a software engineer with 3 years of professional experience, soon to graduate with a degree in Computer Science & Engineering from TU Delft. I tutor general Computer Science with a strong focus on OOP and algorithmic fundamentals. My focus is on building intuition: understanding why we do things as engineers, not just how we do them. A lot of courses throw solutions at you without ever explaining what problem they're solving. I try to make sure you understand the question before we get to answering it. I'm proficient in Python, Go, Java, C#, and familiar with quite a few more. However, since I try to teach you how to think rather than a specific language, it doesn't matter much which one you use - just give me a heads up so I can brush up if needed. I do 1-on-1 sessions, so I can adapt to how you think and where you're actually getting stuck. I've tutored students before through their baccalaureate and the results were good.
