I enrolled in Advanced Microeconomics, Public Economics and Behavioural Economics to enrich my theoretical knowledge, and enrolled in Advanced Econometrics and Official Statistics to learn advanced empirical knowledge about how to analyse data in an appropriate method in different situations. Honour’s has been successful in cultivating my interest in empirical aspects. In Official Statistics and Econometrics courses, the main content was learning some advanced data analysis approaches, and using some coding programme (Stata, MATLAB and R) to analyse some policies and issues, as well as giving some relevant suggestions.
