I am a retired ex maths teacher with lots of patience and sympathy with struggling Maths students. I have studied at the Teachers training college in Pretoria. Have given 3 years maths tuition and many years in the IT industry. During my time in the IT industry, I have been providing part-time assistance to many maths students.

I have been a Maths teacher in a secondary school in London, as well as an International school in Bangkok, teaching a wide range of classes across KS3 and GCSE. I have taught classes with challenging behavior and learned how to navigate that calmly and bring out the best in individuals. This is why I love tutoring, as working with students one-to-one allows me to do this effectively with fantastic results. I also have experience teaching English to adults and children in Peru. I love teaching Maths because I enjoy being able to raise a child's confidence and resilience through their progress. I believe anybody can be successful at Maths with a bit of hard work and self-belief, and I have the necessary people skills and passion to help them achieve success and transfer those skills outside of their studies too. Outside of teaching Maths, I am a lover of gelato, psychology, philosophy, asking too many questions, and being out in nature.

I am a native English-speaking International School teacher who focuses on building relationships with students.
