I'm a passionate, qualified teacher, with over five years of experience teaching and tutoring Maths. I studied Maths at the University of Manchester, where I obtained a 2:1, before completing my teacher training at Manchester Metropolitan University. I've taught in secondary schools in the UK as well as spending two years living in Nepal, where I taught A Level Maths and Economics. My classes are tailored to the needs of my students but I always like to keep them engaging, varied and fun! Often my classes focus on exam preparation and practice, but I can also prepare a complete session with examples, practice exercises and problem solving questions, coverings topics identified with the student. Some students prefer to use the class to ask questions about things they have learned in class or to better understand their homework. It's up to you! I work mostly with students studying for GCSE and A Level exams, but have also tutored younger students and those studying for other qualifications, such as the IB.

I have been a university lecturer for 30 years and still work part-time as a lecturer, primarily for leading universities. I am an economist by background and have taught that subject many times. I also teach business/management, mathematics and statistics. I have taught all levels from GCSE to postgraduate, both one to one and in small groups. I am a final-year computer science major minoring in Finance at the University of Hong Kong. I am from India and have been clearing Olympiads at an early age, so I understand the importance of learning ahead. I still feel the thrill of solving questions by looking at them from a different angle, and I want to share that with you. I have cleared several internationally recognized Olympiads in India, and I have even passed one of the toughest exams in Math, Physics, and Chemistry called JEE to get into IIT-JEE. My other achievements include clearing Olympiads like KVPY and NTSE, among a few others.
