My name is Luyanda Mthabela, and I currently live in Durban. I am fluent in IsiZulu and English. I am a qualified teacher/tutor who is passionate about working with children. I obtained my Bachelor of Education at the University of Zululand, with majors in IsiZulu, English, Mathematics, Natural Science, and Technology, but I am also able to teach subjects beyond my majors.

I have been providing one-on-one tutoring services for the past 3 years. During this time, I have used various teaching methods and strategies to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of my students. These methods include using charts, pictures, flashcards, puzzles, videos, games, reading and rewriting, speaking clearly with a moderate pace, and repeating important information multiple times to ensure that my students achieve exceptional results. I use methods and strategies that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of my students. I use visual aids such as charts, pictures, videos, and flashcards for visual learners. I use puzzles and play educational games for kinesthetic learners (learners who learn best through movement). I speak at an adequate pace, use vocabulary that students understand, and audio devices for auditory learners. I read and write together with the learners to accommodate all learners. Read less
