I am a student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Business School, majoring in Information Systems. I am also a graduate of an ESF school, where I achieved an A* in both IGCSE English Language and IGCSE English Literature, an A in the IB English Extended Essay, and a Level 7 in IB English Literature (Higher Level).
While my exam results are strong, my real passion is making English exciting for younger learners and helping students feel confident and well-prepared with exam skills before sitting their examinations.
I specialize in teaching primary school English across Hong Kong, helping students build confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. I am patient, encouraging, and experienced in working with young learners.
I also specialize in tutoring IGCSE and IB English Literature and Language across Hong Kong. Having recently navigated the same exams my students face, I understand exactly where the difficulties lie and how to overcome them. What sets me apart is my combination of top-tier subject knowledge, experience with local curricula (ESF / IB / IGCSE), and flexibility.
I offer both online and face-to-face sessions, and I am willing to travel to different locations across Hong Kong. I also provide the first hour of tuition free of charge so we can discuss your goals and see if we are a good fit.
Students are also welcome to message me at any time of day with any questions, issues, or help they need. Read less

Pre-Primary/Primary: Utilise play-based learning techniques such as games, storytelling, role-play, and real-life writing tasks. English becomes fun, not boring, for younger learners to stay engaged.
IGCSE/IB: Use a skills-first approach that breaks down complex exam requirements into repeatable steps. Focus on exam technique, essay feedback, mark scheme deconstruction, and timed drills.
I stay observant and adaptive. If a student is stuck or distracted, I switch approaches immediately. Read less
