I am now living in Chiang Mai and looking to do some online work as I ease slowly towards retirement. My style is to use a simplistic approach to teaching the subject. Focus directly on the mathematics and avoid getting stuck in the jargon and notation. I am currently studying technology-assisted teaching based on computer algebra systems and artificial intelligence. These are very advantageous in online teaching situations and using scenario-based mathematical instruction.

Teaching to me is about mentoring, building confidence, and motivating the students in order to help them understand the subject.
