I completed the IB this year and am interested in tutoring Physics, Analysis and Approaches HL, Economics, and Sports Science. My name is Washington and I am a passionate tutor. I am currently pursuing my BSc in Electrical Engineering. I have very high energy and I engage with my students effectively. With over seven years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students at both primary and secondary levels, with a special emphasis on supporting IB students, specifically for Maths SL, Lang & Lit SL, and Biology SL. Drawing from my own challenges during my IB Diploma journey, I understand the importance of the support I lacked and strive to provide meticulous lesson planning to address similar needs of my students. I primarily conduct my lessons online, however, I am open to having face-to-face lessons as well.

I am a full-time tutor specializing in math and science subjects. I started tutoring students since high school over 30 years ago. I attended the Chinese University of Hong Kong and continued my studies in the United States. I graduated in the United States and earned two master's degrees in mathematics and engineering. I worked as a software developer for many years. After returning to Hong Kong, I became a full-time tutor. Over the past twenty years, I have helped many students from local and international primary and secondary schools overcome academic difficulties. I am familiar with Hong Kong (DSE) and international curricula such as IB, SAT, AP Calculus, ACT, GCE A Level, IGCSE, and GCSE. If you find math or science difficult, I can help you get better grades. I tailor my teaching to match students' interests, abilities, and needs so that they can achieve their educational goals. In addition to the regular semester, summer/long holidays are also a great time to catch up or prepare for difficult subjects.
