I am a 4th-year Chemistry student at UBC (Vancouver) engaged in quantum cryogenic chemistry research. My appreciation and passion for chemistry has grown exponentially over time and I want to spread that knowledge to the bright young minds of the future. I went from almost dropping all my science courses in high school to specializing in Chemistry at university, so I understand the discouraging mindset that plagues many kids. I used to tutor elementary school children in high school in a range of subjects with a focus on making the content enjoyable and engaging for the students. I have been teaching continuously for 36 years in the UK in secondary schools and in Further Education Colleges.
