I have vast experience and knowledge of IELTS and TOEFL test. I help students navigate through the exam. For example, in Ielts I approach listening with sections. I help my students to practice section 1,2,3,4 independently culminating in good understanding hence the best band score the student can attain. In writing, I focus on IELTS vocabulary, linking structures, the nitty-gritty of making a beginner writer to write a decent Task 1 and Task 2 without forgetting structure and techniques to able to get 150words and 250words under 1hour.

My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves.
