Hello, I’m Miss. Stella, a Kiwi and UK educated Native English Teacher. I have a vast background in English teaching, writing and blossoming creativity from my students through interactive and enlightening activities. I’ve previously tutored at ACG Parnell College, a leading international and private school in New Zealand, and am currently developing a creative writing curriculum for a tuition centre here in Hong Kong. During my studies in the UK, I was employed by two reputable tutoring companies where I worked with children ranging from the ages of four to sixteen to achieve their academic goals in English and the Humanities subjects. My past experience has equipped me with the necessary skills to adapt my teachings to a number of differing students’ needs and the importance of patience and encouraging perseverance through challenges presented in a child’s education. In addition to my background in Education, I am also a qualified Journalist and Writer, producing content for charities to private enterprises. I am fully aware that each student learns at a different pace, so I create my curriculum in a way that everyone is on the same page. Children will forever hold a special place in my heart. I truly feel as though they have a quality about them that enables us, adults, to get in touch with our inner youth and innocence, qualities we tend to grow out of as we get older. They aide us in putting the little things back into perspective when, at times, we take them for granted! Dear parents, I'm Miss Ada and I love children! I've taught Jolly Phonics, English grammar, reading comprehension and Trinity classes to children from K1 to P6 in a famous learning center in Hong Kong as a native English teacher for 1.5 years.
