Hi, I'm Irene! I offer secondary school students ENGLISH LANGUAGE/LITERATURE and HUMANITIES tutorials. These include: *HISTORY *PSYCHOLOGY *THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE and *POLITICS/SOCIAL STUDIES. NOTE: all my lessons are ONLINE, using ZOOM or SKYPE. As most of my tutorials focus on sharpening essay or writing skills, students collaborate with me on a shared GOOGLE DOC. Students have access to all the notes after the lesson! I also use textbooks (PDF) or work with the student's assigned textbook for their subject. For local (HKDSE) and international students, my strengths are in preparing students for exams - particularly HKDSE, IB Diploma, IGCSE, and A Level exams - and giving students confidence in their writing and speaking skills! A little background information: I have been a private tutor for over 10 YEARS! I used to teach kindergarten and younger students at tutorial centres, but I have found in the last few years that I absolutely love working with young adult students who are finding their passion for subjects and preparing for university.
