Mathematics has always been a subject I have enjoyed. My passion for the subject led me to study it a university. Two years ago I graduated from the University of Kent and began my working career. I did several temp jobs, however, it was working as a clearing administrator at London South Bank university I realised the importance on of education. It also dawned on me that I now have essential skills needed to pass on to the next generation. I have since signed up with several tutoring companies and I am relishing the opportunity.

I am in my first undergraduate year of studying a Bachelor of Data Science at the University of Stellenbosch. I completed high school in 2023 from Rondebosch Boys' High with 6 distinctions and have a love for teaching. Maths has always been my passion, and I earned 93% in it in matric. I have also passed AS and A-Level Cambridge maths, which I did as an extracurricular.

I teach mainly GCSE and A-level maths. I do sometimes teach more advanced university maths, physics, and engineering but only after close consultation with student to ensure it is a close fit. I will also consider teaching younger pupils if I feel they will benefit. I was in the local newspaper recenlty for coaching a 10 year old to a grade 8 in maths. I teach from my home in Cleethorpes, at the puipls home and also online.

My name is Stanley, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The intensive training I received during my time in university has strengthened my capabilities in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Science. A few of the simple teaching techniques that I use include: 1. Teaching by using worked examples. 2. Creating colorful posters to summarize each section covered, which includes ALL formulas. 3. Administering mock tests at the end of each section. 4. Allowing students to complete 10-minute mini tests at the end of every lesson, focusing on the material learned during that particular lesson. 5. Going through past papers set by the Department of Education as a final revision before assessments.

I have a masters degree in electrical engineering and 10 years of teaching experience.
