I've taught primary Science here in Thailand and love to create an exciting environment using pictures, media, videos to grab a students and my attention. I love Science and how it shows how our world works and I am focused on young people and how they can help the Earth. Many words can be hard but I work and making students learn the spelling but how to remember to say it and where it fits in Science. Each word explains what we can't see and what we see if our everyday lives in Thailand and everywhere. I work for interesting lessons because boring lessons lead no where. But I want students to practice and remember what they study. So, speaking and memory techniques are involved. I've taught Art and love photography and digital media. So students do have items to help them be true observers. I was a Science major the first two years before I studied English and have a Masters in Education. Hello, everyone. My name is Poornima Ramesh Iyer, and currently, I am pursuing my PhD at Mahidol University. If I were to describe myself, I would call myself a "nomadic" scientist. I completed my Cambridge IGCSEs and A-levels, focusing on the Sciences and Mathematics, in Thailand. I then went on to study my Bachelor's in China, my Master's in Singapore, and now I am back in Thailand doing my PhD. During my school days, I struggled with my studies, and I would not have performed well in my exams without the help of various tutors. In addition to helping me understand the subjects, they made the learning experience fun and interesting. My experiences have inspired me to gather knowledge and skills that would allow me to teach in the future and inspire students to pursue the sciences, like my tutors and teachers did for me.
