My interactions with my students are always fun and lively!

I believe that patience and kindness are important in helping my students close their learning gaps. I have seen my students develop the confidence to ask me lots of questions and, more importantly, become motivated to pursue self-improvement as a result.

I love teaching and have taught for 20 years, from kindergarten to JC level. I am well-versed in the Montessori phonics teaching method and have taught English in MOE secondary schools. I have experience providing teacher professional development at MOE HQ. I also have a Master of Science (International Relations) and worked as a political science researcher in an NTU think tank, specializing in Southeast Asian politics and Cold War history.

My teaching expertise and research background have helped 100% of my students improve (from fail to pass, from B to A), as I am able to identify strategies that best fit their learning needs.
