Hello, my name is Lonah. I'm an enthusiastic teacher with more than 20 years of experience working with elementary, high school, and university students in traditional classroom settings, as well as four years in online settings. I’m a native speaker from the United States of America. I was born in Thailand and raised in the US. Before moving to Thailand to serve as a Primary school, High school, and University Teacher, I started my career as a Primary school Teacher in Highland, Indiana, in the United States. During that time, I also started teaching online, working with students of various ages in China, Thailand, and Japan. I am experienced in the planning and delivery of high-quality teaching in virtual settings, as well as administering and evaluating remote assessments in preparation for examinations. I employ a range of traditional and progressive methodologies, incorporating experiential learning opportunities whenever possible.

Instead of being merely a teacher, I see myself as an educator. I encourage students to reflect on the ways in which we can apply what we know to challenge the decisions we make. In order to provide a flexible, encouraging, and dynamic learning environment, I foster collaborations with school leadership and my fellow educators. I use a range of technologies in my remote classrooms, including Zoom, Teams, Skype, Miro, and Google Meet. I have enjoyed working with students at a traditional school. However, as the number of enrolled students has significantly decreased, I am now seeking private online teaching opportunities like yours. I appreciate your consideration and time very much.
