1. Show a question, ask the student's possible way of approaching it because I must know if this will be given in the actual exam and how he or she will approach it. I believe the student alwasy has the potential to excel but only at times unsure of organization. 2. Share the format and discuss each tag questions in the essay, letter writing and graph and/or picture. 3. We discuss an example by collecting his or her idea about the topic then we inject those while we are discussing in the outline. 4. We come up with an essay, letter or graph or picture number of qords required, collect vocabularies needed for the task. 5. After knowing the student's understanding of the work then I will let the student try a new work with the same concept. 6. We check together what are the good points and bad points. May possibly ask for a rewrite.
1. Do a pretest but if you want to proceed with the lesson, I have full lessons for the 8 parts of speech, punctuation and spelling. 2. Identify the wrong spelling, punctuation and grammar in an essay. Justify why those are wrong and the reason why it is wrong then on how to improve it.
Read the title of the passage then read the instructions. After that we read the questions afterwhich we proceed to reading of the questions and last is the answering of the questions. Look at the questions well, understand some unfamiliar words, get the contextual meaning to answer the questions.
Reading and understanding starts with knowing the title of the topic, knowing how to look at unfamiliar questions, look at the words/ phrase before and after the unfamiliar word.
I must know the country where the student comes from because pronunciation and enunciation matters where he or she comes from. I listen to answers shared then with short sentences provided, I correct the pronunciation. I also listen to rhythm as well as if the word said is a verb or a noun.
Help students gain confidence and how he or she must regard the audience. Gaining an idea about the topic and on rating the presentation's attention catching rate.
