Hello! My name is Ada, and I’d love to be your next mathematics tutor.

A little bit about me:
- I studied mathematics at the University of Waterloo (ranked #39 in the world for its math faculty).
- In high school, I completed the IB Programme and received a level 7 in SL Mathematics.
- I’ve been tutoring kids and teens for the past eight years, sharing my passion and tips for making math easier!

My main goal is to break down complex math topics into ideas that are easier to understand or visualize, based on your personal learning style. I want to work with you to make learning math more fun. With enough practice from you and guidance from me, I truly believe I can help you achieve your academic goals.

My lessons last one hour and follow an adaptive scheme. I start each lesson with a 5-minute ice-breaker to pinpoint what the student needs help with. This allows me to plan the lesson accordingly to accommodate the student's needs, whether it be simple practice, strengthening fundamentals, learning new tricks, or attempting more challenging problems to develop critical thinking.
