My name is Mrs. Marica Chan, and I have taught English as a native English teacher (NET) in HK primary and secondary schools for all areas of English, including speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and phonics. I have experience with DSE, DSS, ESF, and international (IB, IGCSE, GCEAL) syllabus/curriculum for over 12 years, in addition to 8 years of tutoring which includes preparation for external international English exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, and CAMBRIDGE. I specialize in speech training, including public speaking, debate, and interviews. I have also worked as a psychotherapist and counselor in Canada, focusing on childhood education and development. Furthermore, I am able to provide tips for other subjects, as half of my current tutorial students' parents are school teachers. I graduated from De La Salle University-Manila with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education Major in Early Childhood Education (Honors: Magna Cum Laude) and am a Licensed Professional Teacher. Since 2014, I have been working as a private and online tutor for preschool and elementary students in various subject areas, including foreign students learning the English language.

I went to Chinese International School for high school and grew up speaking predominantly English!
