I am a junior high school science and high school biology tutor with a background in biology education. I am based in Indonesia and can teach both face-to-face and online. Hi! I am Ara, your geologist-mama! I graduated with a BS in Geology from the University of the Philippines and completed my Master's in Environment and Natural Resources Management at the University of the Philippines Open University. I previously worked as an exploration geologist in the mining industry for almost six years and spent two years conducting geohazard research and mapping at the Manila Observatory. I am currently a stay-at-home mom who is very willing to share my expertise and knowledge with kids and science lovers!

A doctoral candidate in Neuroscience, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Cambridge and a former lecturer at the University of Montpellier in France. I have been teaching for over 15 years, at the secondary and post-secondary levels, in various institutions, as well as providing private tutoring. I love sharing my knowledge, especially my wonder and enthusiasm for the subject matter, and helping students regain confidence and independence.

I currently work for the Department of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong. I have achieved a 2:1 in Biomedical Science at a UK university and as a native English speaker can easily tutor students for Biology or associated subjects in this language.
