I am enthusiastic and highly experienced in biological sciences and related subjects. Your success matters to me, and I will work hard with you to achieve your academic goals! I grew up in New York and worked at a zoo throughout high school, where I developed a keen interest in animal behavior and the life sciences. I attended Cornell University, where I studied neurobiology and evolutionary biology. I then came to Hong Kong, where I worked as an ecologist and later completed my PhD at the University of Hong Kong in public health and virology. I continue to work in Hong Kong as a postdoctoral fellow, conducting research related to infection and immunology. My range of experiences has highlighted the interconnectedness between the many fields of biology and life sciences. I can readily draw examples and comparisons to aid in teaching new subject matter, as well as to build strong foundations across the sciences. I am based in Sai Ying Pun, but happy to travel around Hong Kong for in-person tutoring. I am also happy to conduct online lessons. I am happy to do a first trial lesson for free to ensure a good match.

I love to teach all kinds of science, from general topics in Biology to more advanced subjects like Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. I also have experience teaching a variety of other topics including math, general education, and other natural sciences. I am currently in Salaya but am willing to travel to Bangkok or other areas, depending on the student's requirements.

After finishing my Postdoctorate at Georgetown University in Neuroscience, I left academia to pursue a career in the industry. Having served as Director of Research for multiple biotech start-ups, I then started a consulting career which allows me to stay current in the field. To me, my students are a reflection of myself; therefore, I do my best to ensure they are prepared for their future careers. Currently, I am located in Phen District, Udon Thani, Thailand.

I'm Juliette, a science teacher with 20 years experience in school & as a tutor. For the last 6 years, I've taught only online, both with private students and for online schools. I use a specialised online whiteboard, that allows us to see & hear each other, and to draw & write on a whiteboard, and to see the same documents (like slides & pictures). All the lessons are automatically recorded, so you can access them later, for revision or for checking something you learned. Teaching online is quite different from teaching in person, so choosing a tutor with online experience will make your tutoring experience much smoother and more effective.
