Hello, my name is Piers. I am originally from the UK where I completed a B.Sc (Hons) university degree in Marine Biology, graduating with a first class degree. I am currently now working as science teacher, specialising in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology, and am also involved in ongoing scientific marine research in Thailand. I have many years of experience as a tutor, and am highly skilled in preparing students for IGCSE, IB, A Level, and university exams. I am a fun, enthusiastic and passionate teacher who loves to work with students of all abilities and stages. Hi, I am Kevin. I am a doctor who graduated from the University of Leicester in 2022. I spent a year working in the UK last year and am due to start working in Hong Kong in 2024. I have a huge passion for teaching biology and English. I also have experience teaching, as I have completed a teaching diploma in both general and clinical education.

As a PhD student in virology, I am dedicated to making biology easier for you. My work towards finding solutions for viruses and preparing for pandemics has only deepened my passion for this field. I am a second year Bachelor of Science student studying at The University of Melbourne, majoring in Animal Health and Diseases. My critical thinking skills and analytical skills developed from scientific investigations benefit me towards learning in the Science field. I teach General Science (including Biology and Chemistry) and English, which are two subjects I am the most passionate about. I graduated with an IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) certificate upon finishing secondary school in Hong Kong. I also have experience in teaching lower school students English reading and writing. As an IB learner, I teach students to learn and study in an engaging yet efficient way, as opposed to relying solely on memorization. I believe that finding the joy in studying is one of the utmost important when faced with challenging subjects, and hope to spread this outlook to others too. Some work experience I have include working as an intern in the Legal Department of Li & Fung, and job shadowing at a couple animal clinics like Praya Animal Clinic to assist veterinarians and nurses in consultations.

Full-Time UK A-Level Biology Online Tutor. Recently, I shifted to a STEM field with an A* in Biology in the Pearson International Advanced Level exam (2022). I can teach lessons in Cantonese or English. I am patient and observant, so I am able to recognize my students' strengths, onto which their confidence builds up.
