Hi, I'm Greg and thanks for taking the time to look at my profile! I have been tutoring for the last three years specializing in tutoring Mathematics and Chemistry at all levels up until and including the first year of university. I have an in-depth understanding of the current exam specifications, excelling in being able to take students and maximize their potential, discovering that knowledge isn't enough to succeed, but also technique. I have honed this technique getting 11A*s at GCSE and A*A*A at A Level. This ability to succeed is a skill I want to carry on to teach and I hope you're my next student! Chemistry is equal parts foreign language and jigsaw puzzle. It's a perspective and it's a game. My passion is to find ways to translate this intimidatingly foreign nomenclature into a vocabulary you're already fluent in. My background in psychology guides my teaching approach to take a special focus on the learning and memory principles that maximizes comprehension and retention.

I have more than 4 years of experience tutoring Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Algebra at the High School level. I am a state certified science teacher for grades 7 - 12. I also have more than 4 years of experience tutoring General and Organic Chemistry at the College Level. I like to get a list of topics then make a plan based on when the students will take exams to determine the correct pace of learning. I have access to online quizzes and tests.

I am a recent graduate of Queens College with a B.A. in Biology. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with an overall gpa of 3.9. I was an annual member of the Dean's list and graduated with High Honors while winning the award for highest gpa of all Biology majors. I spent three years tutoring biology and chemistry at Queens College and an additional year tutoring privately. This fall I will be starting medical school at the Frank H. Netter SOM and my goal is to work part time as a tutor. I am an extremely dedicated and reliable person who takes pride in every project in which I am involved. I am a PostDoc at Rutgers University who enjoys science. I do research in Theoretical Chemistry, which involves Chemistry, Physics (Quantum Mechanics) , Math and Coding (Fortran !! and Python). I am passionante about teaching because this the only way to propagate and consolidate science in the community. I always make sure that the students understand what science is about and how they can use scientific concepts to understand their world. I have taught Chemistry, Physics and Math to students from all different levels of schooling such as middle school to undergraduate.

I am currently a Chemical Engineering student. I am also a Math degree holder. I am really good in understanding and teaching mostly every concepts in Chem and Math. I am living in Oshawa and am free in weekdays for this summer.

I have 6 years of experience in teaching chemistry and biology for IGCSE, IB Diploma, and AP exams. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Master's Degree in Biochemistry. I am a year 2 student currently studying medicine at HKU. I completed my A-Level studies in Cardiff Sixth Form College, I studied in Diocesan Girls’ Junior School and Diocesan Girls’ School. In AS Levels, I have obtained A grade in physics, chemistry, biology and maths, with an average ums of 95/100. My grades for my A-Level exams are 5A*s (including chinese). I have also completed my IELTS examination with an overall score of 8.5. I have had experiences of tutoring pre-school, primary and secondary school students, I understand student's needs and emphasise on understanding instead of memorisation.
