My passion is to find ways to translate this intimidatingly foreign nomenclature into a vocabulary you're already fluent in. My background in psychology guides my teaching approach to take a special focus on the learning and memory principles that maximizes comprehension and retention.

I have more than 4 years of experience tutoring Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Algebra at the High School level. I am a state certified science teacher for grades 7 - 12. I also have more than 4 years of experience tutoring General and Organic Chemistry at the College Level. I like to get a list of topics then make a plan based on when the students will take exams to determine the correct pace of learning. I have access to online quizzes and tests.

I have always had a passion for tutoring. I believe that Tutors should be concerned about finding the most suitable method of delivering information to students, since each one has a different learning style, so it is important to create an individualized study plan for each student that best fits their method of learning and allows us to make the most of the tutoring experience. I like to teach Organic Chemistry as it is my favourite subject. My aim is to teach Organic Chemistry in simple and easy steps. I put a great effort into explaining concepts until they are well understood. I helped many students in their assignments.

First lesson is on me:) Chemistry can seem daunting at first, but with the right help, it is doable! I am locatd in New York, NY and teach in fun, interactive ways so that you will not get bored. I am a recent graduate of Queens College with a B.A. in Biology. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with an overall gpa of 3.9. I was an annual member of the Dean's list and graduated with High Honors while winning the award for highest gpa of all Biology majors. I spent three years tutoring biology and chemistry at Queens College and an additional year tutoring privately. This fall I will be starting medical school at the Frank H. Netter SOM and my goal is to work part time as a tutor. I am an extremely dedicated and reliable person who takes pride in every project in which I am involved. I am a PostDoc at Rutgers University who enjoys science. I do research in Theoretical Chemistry, which involves Chemistry, Physics (Quantum Mechanics) , Math and Coding (Fortran !! and Python). I am passionante about teaching because this the only way to propagate and consolidate science in the community. I always make sure that the students understand what science is about and how they can use scientific concepts to understand their world. I have taught Chemistry, Physics and Math to students from all different levels of schooling such as middle school to undergraduate.
