I have been teaching for over 16 years and I still think it is the best job in the world. I make my classes fun, creative, and communicative, regardless of the student's age. The best way to learn is to enjoy it! As a practitioner of post-method pedagogy, I adapt my teaching practice to meet the needs of the learners, keeping them engaged and helping them achieve their best. I started as a teacher of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to adults in the UK for 7 years before coming to Hong Kong, where I have taught in the local school system as a NET, as well as in tutorial centers. I have a proven track record in teaching ESOL, English (as a first language), and History. I provide in-person and online training and encouragement to improve student self-confidence, study habits, and time management. I have helped students achieve greater academic success and independent learning through effective learning techniques. This has led to 100% of students scoring either grade 9 or 8 at GCSE, A at A Level, and 90% of students being offered a place at the school of their choice.
