Hey there! I'm teacher Joyce, I'm a Foreign Teacher here in Thailand for almost 6 years now. I've been teaching "All Levels"starting from Pre-Kindergarten to Higher level mainly focusing on English language conversation. I love kids as I have my kids on my own and I believe that loving your students like your own kid will lead you on becoming an effective teacher. I am flexible, I love free-conversational topics as that's how the learners will learn and adapt the language more easily. I believe that learners must have fun while they are learning that's why I always love to teach the way that they want to learn which is by having fun, no pressure, letting them express theirselves, boost their confidence & explore more things while learning. Fernando Basto I am an EFL teacher, with almost 27 years post-CELTA teaching experience in both Portugal, the UK,Malaysia and currently in Thailand. Throughout my time as a teacher I have continued to develop my skills by attending and taking part in staff development training. I have also had the responsibility for the content and design of some courses. I was a teacher at the British Council for 20 years. I am always endeavouring to improve my teaching skills and enjoy the challenge of making my lessons both an enjoyable and effective learning experience. During my time teaching EFL in Portugal and the UK I taught both young learners from 11 to 18 and adults from beginner to advanced and, as a result, understood the different approaches required. In addition, I always take different learning styles into account when planning my lessons, and adapt my materials accordingly. Indeed, I design a lot of my own materials, which I subsequently share with other teachers. Moreover, I have taught in one of the UK’s most prestigious summer schools for five summers, where I have won various teacher awards, including, ‘most helpful teacher’, and ‘most flexible teacher’. In fact, I was invited to come back second year as the senior teacher, who is responsible for providing administrative and pedagogical support and advice to the other teachers. In the fourth and fifth year, I was given the position of ADOS. My time teaching at this summer school has given me an invaluable insight into the different learning needs of various nationalities and especially Asian students who I have been teaching for the last three summers. Furthermore, I have an excellent rapport with my students and have had first-rate feedback from both students and line-managers. As a consequence, I have been specially requested, as a teacher, by students on several occasions. I am also a highly motivated, enthusiastic and creative individual, with a mature and responsible attitude.

Hi, My name is Daphne, and I'm excited to help others learn English! I am a native speaker from Chicago in the United States, currently located in central Paris. I have experience tutoring French speakers aged 5-10 in English, who vary in level. I have worked with children who have never learned any English, as well as those who can speak but just need help with grammar. I also speak French, so if anything needs to be explained or if you are just starting out in English, I can provide explanations in French as well! The main subject that I teach is English. I have tutored both primary and secondary school students in a local tutorial centre for 2 years, with good command of both English and Cantonese. I have also worked with kindergarten students aged 3-6 in a local kindergarten, where I conduct conversations in English and read English stories to them.
