My name is Katy and I have been teaching English to students of all levels and ages for the past nine years. I have helped high school students prepare for their provincial English exam, non native speakers prepare for language exams which have allowed them to pursue higher education and also business people to be able to communicate with colleagues with more ease. I am only available for online classes which means that no matter where you are in the world you can keep working on achieving your goals in English. I am creative and patient with all my students, but mostly I ensure that learning is not only helpful but also fun. My favorite style of teaching [English] is to create a fun, relaxed learning environment where I incorporate games or activities to increase confidence in the classroom and keep students motivated to learn! I am fully aware that each student learns at a different pace, so I create my curriculum in a way that everyone is on the same page. Children will forever hold a special place in my heart. I truly feel as though they have a quality about them that enables us, adults, to get in touch with our inner youth and innocence, qualities we tend to grow out of as we get older. They aide us in putting the little things back into perspective when, at times, we take them for granted! Hello! My name is Chloe, and I'm an experienced native English teacher. I have been in Hong Kong for nearly 3 years now and have worked in the education and childcare sector for nearly 4 years in total. I have a university degree, a UK TEFL certificate, and I am currently studying for my Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Early Years Teaching. I have two years of experience teaching early learners in an international kindergarten, and an additional year's experience teaching both adults and children English within a learning center here in Hong Kong. I also have experience tutoring and have been doing so for the past two years, mainly with children aged 7-11 years old.
