Hello! I'm in the Toronto area and I will be focusing on English. It can be reading, writing or both. I provide individualized programs. I have a lot of experience teaching online and for the last few yers, I have worked with students for whom English is their second language. I have been a tutor globally for university students doing their undergrad and master's degree. So, I know how to prepare my high school students for university and college. In Ontario, I have worked in the EQAO grades three and six, since the testing started. (Prior to that I mainly taught the intermediate grades.). I have reading recovery training and I’m familiar with later literacy programs used in the older grades. I enjoy tutoring. I have worked with teachers and use the schools' curriculum to develop the basic skills needed for school and life.

I have been a licensed professional teacher for 4 years now. I spent 1 year teaching actual Thai students in Thailand. Currently, I am teaching foreign students online due to the pandemic. Greetings to whoever reads this! I teach Mathematics, Science, English, History, and Literature. I am currently living in Quezon City, Metro Manila. I had learning difficulties growing up, which makes me more empathetic and understanding towards students. My lifelong English journey started with being a research subject and later an intern at CUHK's Bilingualism Research Center. Imbued with a passion for English, I delved deeper into the art both at school (IGCSE and IB) and outside school (various writing competitions and MUN conferences). Despite my proclamations of loving English to bits, I have to say I'm a freshman at HKU Med. The discrepancy is a little odd, I'll admit and explain. This English tutoring job allows me to further my interest in English and spread this enthusiasm to my students! If that isn't enough to evidence my passion, sorry, I don't know what will. Let me quell some other potential doubts about my expertise and experience. Throughout high school, I've consistently been on top of my English class, and subsequently helped a lot of my peers. Of course, I do have proper work experience - I am currently tutoring lovely primary children, for both SSAT and mastery of the English language in general.
