Throughout my academic journey, I have gained extensive experience working with children of all ages and proficiency levels. I specialize in teaching the Primary School Mathematics and Science Syllabus and have 1 year of experience teaching primary school Math and Science. My previous P5 tutee obtained an AL1 for both Math and Science. Prior to my undergraduate studies at NTU, I graduated from the 6-year IP Programme at Dunman High School in 2023 and Raffles Girls’ Primary School in 2017. I achieved an A* in Mathematics and A in Science in the PSLE, as well as an A in H2 Mathematics and H2 Chemistry and a B in H2 Biology in my A levels. Thus, I am very confident in teaching Mathematical and Science concepts to my students. I aim to explain the methods and answering techniques concisely, clearly, and patiently as I pinpoint what they are struggling with. I am also able to commit until the End Of Year Examinations/PSLE.

I have always loved math and science, and I enjoy sharing that passion through teaching. I find it extremely rewarding when a student finally understands a concept that once felt impossible. I strive to make lessons engaging, supportive, and stress-free so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My aim is to build both confidence and strong academic foundations in every student I teach. I am based in Woodleigh/Serangoon but would be more than happy to travel to the student's place for lessons.

With 8 years of experience, I am a dedicated and enthusiastic high school Mathematics teacher. I held the role of Mathematics head for four years at an American School in Bangkok, which also adheres to the IB Curriculum. Furthermore, I taught Pure Mathematics and Additional Mathematics in a British school in Dhaka. Currently, I am contributing to the education sector in Ontario, teaching at a private school that follows both the Ontario curriculum and the IB Curriculum.
