I am originally from the UK and am studying for my PhD in Medical Science at the National University of Singapore. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience and am available for Maths, Science and English tutoring in the Choa Chu Kang area.

I would like to take up this opportunity to formally introduce myself as an experienced, versatile and astute team contributor with over 10 years of relevant experience as a Mathematics, English Language & Literature, Social Science and Elementary Science Teacher. I speak fluent English and can communicate in French as well. I am a high school math teacher with over 14 years of experience in all math up to Algebra I and Geometry. My experience also includes working with students with learning disabilites. I personally used to struggle with math as a young child, but now, I love it!! As a past struggling math student, I know what it feels like to "just not get it". There is more than one way to get the same answer in math and I can show you a way that will make sense to you. Since completing my PGCE at the University of Manchester in 2012, I worked in a Primary school for over 3 years which equipped me with a wealth of experience as a Good to Outstanding Class Teacher and also as a Subject Leader for Science and PE. I have also spent time as a Supply Teacher which enabled me to spend time with my family when needed but also gave me invaluable experience across all Primary year groups in a diverse range of schools. My teaching style is to create a positive and dynamic learning environment that enables children to thrive and succeed at what they do. I am experienced in SATs and 11+ examination preparation. My passions are Maths and SPAG. The children I teach make excellent progress and this is reflected in my consistently good results in the classroom.

Hello! I live in Southeast Ohio and tutor students mainly in Mathematics and Biology. However, if necessary, I can tutor other various subjects as well. I have been tutoring students of all ages for several years and greatly enjoy spending time with them and watching them excel at what was once a challenge to them.

I have studied Chemical and Nuclear Engineering at Imperial College London. My A level grades are A* A* A A (Maths, Physics, Further Maths, Chemistry). I am a passionate educator currently still studying with experience in teaching mathematics, I love kids and I love teaching them new things, as well as learning from them. Grew up in San Antonio, TX, hated school and only did the bare mininum to make ok grades. Graduated and went to the University of Houston for Accounting and almost failed out my first year because I didn't havethe mindsent of a learner. Thankfully I got it together with the help of others and really digging in and figuring it out. Now I work as a teacher to help students who were like me, who don't know how to study yet or don't have the mindset of success and help them maximize their natural greatness!
