Hello! I’m Moon, a Primary teacher currently working within the Cambridge programme. I support young learners in developing strong foundations across core subjects, including Mathematics. I specialise in teaching basic maths for primary students, focusing on building clear understanding step by step — from number sense and operations to problem-solving skills. Another significant role that honed my mentoring skills was my tenure as the Head of the Department for Methodical Work at MIPT in Moscow from July 2015 to July 2016. Here, I coordinated with a team of educators for events such as "Olympiad Math" and "Olympiad Physics". My responsibilities encompassed curating curriculum, developing problem sets, and overseeing the teaching approach to ensure students received comprehensive instruction. In addition to structured teaching, I've been involved in several projects that required educational insights. Notably, during the "International Summer School " in 2016, I oversaw teacher selection, curriculum development, and liaised with sponsors, reflecting my capacity to mentor both in academic and practical contexts. My approach is always centred on fostering an environment of growth, where students not only grasp theoretical concepts but also learn to apply them pragmatically.

Hello, Mathematics is one of my favorite subjects, maybe because I am very good at it. I enjoy helping children and adults improve their understanding of Math. People say that they think I am kind, friendly, and have a lot of patience. They also look forward to our lessons. Once upon a time, I also had to learn more about Math. I understand that we all learn differently, and I know different ways to help you learn. I prefer to help learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7 because I think it is important for them to feel comfortable and confident in Mathematics from a young age. However, that doesn't mean I don't understand the Mathematics that learners in Grade 8 and onwards do. I speak English, so my tutoring lessons will be in English. Hey, I’m a third‑year university student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and helping people has always come naturally to me. There were times when I genuinely believed the subject would block me from pursuing the degree I really wanted. What made the difference for me wasn’t just one teacher, it was a combination of dedicated teachers and a mom who took time to explain things to me when she could. That support changed my whole trajectory. I also know that not every student has someone at home who can sit down with them after work, or a parent who understands the content well enough to guide them. People are busy, schedules clash, and some learners simply don’t have access to the kind of help I was fortunate to receive. That’s a huge part of why I tutor. I want to be the person who steps in when life doesn’t allow for that extra support. For me, tutoring isn’t only about working through equations, it’s also about encouragement, discussing goals, and helping students believe in their own potential. I want learners to know that one difficult subject should never be the reason they give up on the university course or career they dream of.
