Ciao! My name is Manfredi but you can call me Fredi. I've lived for 7 years in Miami where I recently graduated in Civil Engineer at Florida International University. During these years I was able to enjoy studying math and being able to teach to others. I loved my years as a tutor at the STEM labs in MDC and FIU, and I'd love to keep teaching. My math knowledge is wide until Multivariable Calculus, but I love to teach simpler things like Long Division, Basic Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus. I can help to pass GRE. GED, SAT, ASVAB, or any other level of math you need. Also, I can help any Civil Engineering student having problems with important classes like Physics, Statics, Dynamics, Mech. of Material, or any other class. I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. Hi, I'm Felizarda Paquete, I tutor Mathematics(any grade) and Physical Sciences(Grade 12). I've been tutoring since highschool, I'd tutor my classmate and other school kids as a lot of them saw mathematics as this difficult subject and I'd find ways to make it simpler for them, I believe Maths is the simplest subject as I know whether my answer is wrong or right after writing it, you basically can draw up a memo for a maths question paper as you work with theorems, formulaes etc. I love Mathematics, since from a young age, and I made sure I get a distinction every term for Maths and I'd love to help others get distinctions too and be good at Mathematics, and also meet new people.
