I am a chemistry major at Ryerson going into my fourth year. I have 4 years of experience teaching chemistry and math to students of all ages up to grade 12. I am located near Victoria Park and Lawrence, but I am also downtown a good portion of the time so I am able to commute to most locations near a subway station. I also try to establish a connection with my students to try and make the tutor to student relationship come off as more of a peer to peer relationship. Hi, I am Ash, an Industrial Engineer based in Durban with 5 years of Tutoring experience in Math & Pure Sciences. I am an innovation consultant and occasionally tutor to share my knowledge with science students. My passion in life is knowledge and the sharing of it. The main subject that I tutor is Mathematics as I have found it to be one of the most difficult subjects to grasp, despite being a subject of logic and true beauty once one is able to understand it. With a Masters in Biomedical Engineering, I am experienced in topics regarding Mathematics and Physics. My degree also allows me to appreciate the practicality of these subjects. I attended an international school and obtained outstanding results in the IGCSE and IB exams (A*s and 7s in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry). I have a good understanding of the IGCSE and IB syllabus along with the way they are taught. I believe that good foundation in fundamentals is vital for future excellence.
