Hello! I am Ethan, a recent IB graduate with a score of 43 and 7's in HL Chemistry, Physics, and Maths. My two years tutoring iGCSE Science and my current internship at HKU enables any of my tutees to fully grasp and admire any complex topic. As a recent graduate, I am extremely familiar with both the iGCSE and IB curriculums. My age might suggest a lack of experience; however, I have the most recent insight into the content of secondary school exams. My experience and background includes more than 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics, Physics and Data Management, specializing in Geometry, Algebra, Advanced Functions and Calculus. I am an award winning mathematics teacher gaining recognition for my excellent work at International Canadian, British, and American schools. I helped students learn successful strategies to get high scores in International schools by developing formulated creative lesson plans and techniques for test taking to enhance their learning experience. This extensive experience of working with international students from France, China, Italy, UAE, Kuwait, Egypt and Qatar helped me to design and implement interactive lessons using the latest Technologies such as Smart and Promethean Boards. As a high school Math teacher at Covenant Central Academy, my active style of teaching helps students remain engaged and eager to learn, but it took years of growth, preparation, and work for me to arrive where I am today. For the achievement of students, I believe that being engaged with students is one of the best ways to get them to follow directions and stay on task. One of the most important targets that I have always focused on is showing my students how they can use Math and Science in their daily life. I also develop fun and engaging projects for my students, where they apply what they have learned in class in an entertaining and informative way. I started my career in the Canadian Forces and Engineering firms in Montreal Canada. From there I went on to become an International Math, Science and Data Management Teacher successfully completing the requirements to become a teacher of continuing education. I have supervised recognized international tests including the SAT; I was chosen out of 27,000 applicants nationwide and taught elementary, middle, and secondary schools.

Hi everyone, my name is Abdur Rahman. I am a first-year international engineering student at HKU studying on a 100% merit-based scholarship. During my high school, I did A-levels and my subjects were maths, further maths, physics, chemistry, and computer science. My grades were 4A* and 1A and I gained my scholarship as a result of these grades. I have past experience teaching mathematics, physics, and computer science to students from a variety of different educational backgrounds. I also teach specific skills such as Python and front-end development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). As a tutor, I do my best to not only help the students improve their grades but also develop an interest in the subject I'm teaching.

I am a student myself, currently studying M.Sc. Computational Engineering at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. This course is heavily focused on mathematics, which happens to be my strongest subject throughout my academic career. I achieved an A* in mathematics during my O'Levels, followed by an A grade in high school, and finally completed my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I excelled in the mathematics course during my studies. In addition to my proficiency in mathematics, I am also highly skilled in the field of physics. I received A grades in physics both during my O'Levels and high school. My major in my bachelor's was mechanical engineering, a subject that encompasses a strong foundation in physics. It's important to note that I am not very proficient in German, therefore I am only able to provide lessons in English. I am fully dedicated to delivering my lessons in a professional manner, and I always thoroughly prepare beforehand.

I am Farhana Sabrin, currently working as the Head of the Mathematics department at Wells International School, Thailand.
