I am a Physics Student at HKUST and teach both Mathematics and Physics, 2 subjects I am very passionate about. I work around Hang Hau, TKO and Sai Kung to provide tutoring. Methodical in my process, I will ensure fruitful learning for every student that will be taught under me.

I am a math tutor based on the KZN South Coast, previously from the corporate (finance/transport) world. I have a BSc degree from the University of Pretoria (1995). I achieve great results with students who find themselves far behind or lost in math. I teach grades 8-12 CAPS curriculum and calculus.

I have been a mathematics tutor for primary and secondary students for 2 years. I am keen on passing on the quick fixes and strategies I have learnt and developed in math to the tutees. I feel my job is quite simple in which I will be asking the right questions, arousing the curiosity and making tutees find the questions more fun and interesting to solve. I am a native English speaker and am passionate about education. Most of my teaching and training has been with individuals ranging from 17 to 65 years of age in the aviation sector. I have five years of teaching experience, using teaching methods that vary from lectures to one-on-one tailored training. Currently, I am in my second year of studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics. I can confidently teach Mathematics up to Grade 11 or 12, depending on the syllabus or course the student is following. Similarly, I can teach Physics up to Grade 12 level, and I am open to assisting first year students in Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics. Furthermore, I can teach meteorology or geography up to Grade 12. I am available to teach in the Kowloon area, as I reside in Lai Chi Kok. Since I am currently studying, I possess up-to-date knowledge on these subjects and am dedicated to making learning enjoyable and interactive for the student.
